Why is it that the more you submit to Him and the more you thirst to be closer to Him, the enemy's presence is stronger than ever? When you pray to Him, He hears you. When you CRY OUT to Him, He listens and intervenes with authority and might.

Recently, I have been forced to be on my knees before the Lord. Unexpected matters in life have brought me prostrate before Him, begging for comfort and understanding. Shamefully I must admit that only now, in the midst of grave and desparate situations, do I come earnestly to Him. Sure, I pray to Him when life is dandy and things seem to go well, but the purity of my heart fall short of Him. In this time, I am learning how He cares for His children and how He provides for us. Even in times when we can not see positive outcomes, He is steadfast and unchanging. Praise Him for who He is!
