few months ago, i wrote about how my words and actions hurt a friend in a deep and scarring way. now, with summer past and fall looming, evident by the ever growing fog hugging the city skyline, i can not help but wonder whether or not my efforts to mend the wounds and to put my pride aside, allowing others to graze on my vulnerability, has amounted to anything more than an imaginary solace fashioned unlike reality.

Ignoring another human being is the lowest manner one human being can treat another. Even a solipsistic character becomes lugubrious if others deny his existence by the mere unconscious and underlying "talk to the hand" attitude. Of course many times the unawareness of others is not deliberate. No matter, when one's presence and existence are not acknowleged, something eats at the soul's joy.

Hand shake, eye contact, body language. First impressions. Funny how sometimes i am right on and other times I am completely mistaken. First impressions, important to give good ones.
