Totally Bummed Out

I was all excited yesterday when i found a roundtrip ticket fr SFO to STL for just 165 buckaroos... emailed my buddy out there to double check that the flight schedule would work... my inbox was empty until this morning... when the email finally came back to give me the go, i went back online to book the flight... to my dismay, the ticket price rose to 223 overnight! argh! i am completely disgusted. Do you know how much food i can eat for 58 buckaroos?!!

So yeah, i thought i was pretty bummed out about that... UNTIL...
my boss and i got to talking about the Amazing Race... CBS show... college friend and i have OOOed and AWWWed over the show for the past two years... dreaming of one day participating on it together... on several occassions we attempted to apply for the show, but either the producers were not accepting applications or the timing was OFF... so today i hopped online to check-out the most recently eliminated competitors... just for fun, i looked to see if they are currently accepting applications... NOW i am bummed... the deadline was last wednesday, august the eleventh. i will cry for the rest of the day... i missed my chance, again!! yes, i am totally bummed out.
