Round Three

No, I am not at a boxing match. Nor am I playing a video game. Not even the spelling bee. Nope. Rather, aunt Kelly (refer to Thu, Oct 30) is reading through the New Testament for the third time... already. How many of you can honestly say that you have diligently read through the entire New Testament twice and going onto the third time? Okay... just once? This woman is amazing. With only a formal education up to the third grade, she comprehends and analyzes better than most with a common bachelor's degree. So what if the parables in the books of the Gospel repeat themselves? Let aunt Kelly tell you that in the third time reading through them she has discovered that not only must they be important for the Holy Spirit to repeat them several times, but that each has different point and a unique theme. As she reads through the NT for the third time, she slowly is understanding the purpose of each book and then seeing the bigger picture. Will she finish her third round before you finish Matthew?
