Ghetto IM

Yeah, I have recently started a few ghetto IM conversations with buddies near and far. 2 in particular are almost always as bored as myself... well, maybe not necessarily bored, but have just as much time as me at work. Anyway, they entertain me throughout the day, and so that has kept my eyes open at my desk... i guess i would rather have my boss see me emailing than with my head on the desk drooling. Right now it's almost 4:30pm friday afternoon... and I realize that after those 2 buddies leave for the evening, at 4pm everyday, i am once again left to survive the life of wasted brain cells on my own. Two hours on my own... I don't even surf the net b/c for whatever reason I think that is less kosher than blogging and emailing. I can be this silly sometimes.

So last night I had me a mushroom and cheese burger with a good buddy. We have not hung out in a few weeks, and thought we would catch up. Too bad the game was on at the burger joint b/c that kept us both a little distracted. Oh well. I am sure we will kick it again soon.

My bf (no no, not my boyfriend... my best friend) from 8th grade will be in town this wkend! She only lives in Sacramento, so it's not like i never see her... but I just love it when she comes back home b/c we always have a great time hanging out and sharing stories. She always makes me smile so big!
