Who is ready for the start up of parties at my pad once again? Too much time has gone by since we threw an off the wall party at the house. We used to have people in and out nonstop way back when... with music rattling and decked out guests. I miss the bountiful amount of food, the boisterous family members, the never-ending laughter of children, the occassionally yelps of friends, the clinking of champagne glasses, the brushing by of bodies in close quarters... we are gearing up for the party of the year! This weekend promises to have delicious eats, good music, and of course, many laughs. Preparing for a party can be stressful, but we are having a good time just getting every little detail together... menu, dessert, drinks, decorations, whoopie... it's nonstop, but it is also learning to work closely with stubborn minded people. I learn about myself as well as others... when to step down and compromise and when to go forward. Right-o!
