has it been forever or has it been forever since the last time i posted?! aye de mi...
so you have probably noticed that yours truly has been M-I-A for the past month... away from email... away from blogging... away from mobile contact... away from gatherings... away from celebrating the holidays... and away from reality. well, if i could design my own perfect world and live in it everyday, it would be as it were the past month...
there are few activities, few people, few daily delights that i enjoy more than the thrill and swiftness of traveling. oh the excitement of exploring and living in the unknown... going to the limits and pushing just beyond the boundaries... i am learning to go confidently while living on the edge. the beauty in cultures around the world leave me in nothing less than a great awe, often gaping as i realize, yet again, how blessed and yet ignorant i am as a person, a living soul. language... food... daily routines... nutrition... dress style... religion... city layout... transportation... currency... technology... public facilities... all simple aspects that comprise complex cultures- is not experiencing different cultures and appreciating them purely indescribable?

i wish i could be elsewhere instead of in san francisco in front of a computer right now... perhaps bebiendo un cafe back in spain... or walking straight down a snow mountain in Wyoming... or hauhng gai in hong kong... or to live my dream in chile... or hike the outback... i would even be satisfied to be back in the good ole' south!

one more thing: i hate experiencing jetlag.
